One of the negative byproducts of civilization has been the steady deterioration of our ability to cope with our environment. The scientific advances we have made in medicine are helpful, but tend to operate under the false assumption that death can be defeated, as if it were an enemy. That is why we must remember that without death, there could be no life. This sedentary lifestyle has also led to many disorders such as diabetes, cancer, food intolerance, and a multitude of allergies. This section will focus on ways that we can live healthier by remembering that we evolved living in a very different manner than we live today. Once we acknowledge our hunter/gatherer biology, we can begin to take care of our bodies in a proper and balanced way.
